The Alpha LED set for the Piaggio Zip replaces your front and rear lighting with modern LED units with a Flow or Matrix pattern. Flow visibly builds up the light, Matrix lights up in tight segments. Both variants give your Zip an immediate update in appearance and visibility.
For which models?
This set is made for the Piaggio Zip 2000 series, both 2T and 4T. If the covers or wiring have previously been tinkered with, check your plugs and mounting points before ordering. Alpha LED lighting does not fit Vespa models.
What's in the set?
Depending on the variant you choose, you get a complete front and rear set or just the front or rear. Check this on the product page so that you do not suddenly run out of something during installation.
Flow or Matrix?
Flow has a running light effect, which looks a bit more playful. Matrix is tighter and more technical in character. Many riders choose one effect at the front and rear, which looks the calmest. Which one you choose is mainly a matter of taste.
Connection
Many Alpha LED sets for the Zip 2000 are supplied with plugs that fit the original wiring harness. If your Zip is still wired as standard, it is plug-and-play in most cases. If the wiring has been previously worked on, additional cabling may be required.
LED uses less power than a standard lamp. This can sometimes cause the flashing light to flash faster. A suitable flashing relay usually solves this.
Is something not working after installation?

Legal points of interest
Rules regarding lighting differ per country. Pay attention to light color, operation of your indicators and whether a dynamic pattern on public roads is permitted in your situation. You remain responsible for correct installation and following local rules.
